  1. Honestly, I don't think there is much of anything you can do to improve this class. I think it is absolute top notch. I have learned so many things about how to use twitter in my field of study that it is mind boggling. The speakers have been so fascinating that I feel like I have been floating through clouds of euphoria. #ClarkClass

  2. I agree with Tommy. I took this class because I heard a lot of great things about it, and it didn't disappoint! I learned a great deal about how and what it means to be successful via social media. I loved the intimacy of the class as well as all the fantastic speakers! #clarkclass

  3. I believe the improvement of this class relies in the hands of future students. You get out of this class what you put into it (kind of like life). Ask questions. Connect with people. Engage in the conversations (in class and on Twitter). You may work for one of the speakers someday, so make sure they know who you are. Clark - keep bringing in awesome people. The rest will just happen.

  4. I would totally have to agree with the words of my fellow classmates. I'm not quite sure how you could improve this class that is already so amazing! I have never bonded with a class so quickly! It definitely relies on how eager the future students are to get something out of the class like our class has. Maybe one thing that could spice it up would be taking a class field trip to one of these companies we have had come talk to us, and see them in action?! That's really the only thing I can think of. These amazing speakers already paint such a vivid picture through their stories. Just keep bringing them and try to find even more!

  5. I think this class is pretty good!! It offers a lot to learn and take away in such a short period of time. My only suggestion would be to perhaps take a trip to one of the places or restaurants that we talked about and start tweeting about it to give it more publicity. I know we're doing a reunion in a month or so but future students in this class can also do the same during the intersession period. I tend to always link food when I'm thinking and this might help upcoming students haha! Thanks for an awesome class!!

  6. Only one suggestion: If the students can get the class hashtag trending, they should be exempt from writing the paper. Boom.

  8. I second Abdallah's suggestion about visiting a restaurant/business and tweeting to promote! Other than that, this was an awesome class and nothing beats hearing first hand from people in the "real world."

  10. I have learned so much about Twitter in such a short time. I think this is a great class. That being said, you get what you put into things. Continue bringing in great speakers, they were all awesome! Love the Authenticity of hearing from real world leaders. The only suggestions I can come up with is to continue this class, and continue with the debriefs after the speakers. I think the debriefs have helped people open up and it helps people connect. I think the relaxed environment and the openness of this class is what makes it work so well. I also think trying to come up with creative hashtags for the speakers is a fun way to keep the class involved. And keeping the #clarkclass trending is a must! Overall this is a great class!

  11. I really like the structure of this class. I think the key would be getting students more involved. That's going to be tough because this group has really got involved with each guests. My suggestion would be to offer extra credit to anyone willing to write a hand written thank you not on the behalf of the class. I think the speakers would really appreciate that since they're taking time out of their busy day to come and speak to us.

  12. I absolutely loved this class! I think you are doing everything right when it comes to the speakers and debriefings. The only thing that I personally could see going a little more smoothly is having all the class assignments written out and published to the blog ahead of time. Sometimes I felt the need to double and triple check what the assignments for the day were or when things were due so that way I knew I wasn’t missing anything.

  13. I'll admit I struggled a little bit in trying to come up with ideas. The speakers are really good and the tweeting about speakers and presentations creates dialogue with others which is obviously something you want. My suggestion would be in addition to the three or so daily tweets would be three or more daily follows. Both Rob and Jill had a large list of "people you should follow" so maybe have students follow three people a day from that day's speaker's suggested follow list.

  14. I think the only way to improve it would be to lay out deadlines and assignments out ahead of time. I think also, if you're open to it, maybe creating some kind of grade based on an increase in followers. Its important to follow, but also to be followed.

Class was great, I had a great time getting to network with these social media rock stars, as well as getting to meet this class. Had a blast!

  15. The only way to improve the class would be to talk more about the assignments that are assigned like the paper and presentation. Besides that there is nothing to improve on.

  16. There's not a lot that could be some to improve the class, my only suggestion would be to have everyone write their Twitter handle on their outline for the presentation.

  17. Honestly, I can't think of any suggestions to make this specific class better. Twitter for Media has been fantastic. Maybe incorporating other social medias into another class would be beneficial. Instagram, FB, Youtube, SnapChat, etc.

  18. I thought this class was structured very well! The selection of speakers varied, which was great to see. The only thing I would add would be a syllabus of due dates that is all together and not spread throughout the blog so you only have to look to one area for assignments rather than having to look back pages on the blog to find things.

  19. I don't think that there is anything left to improve. The speakers in the class were dynamic and kept our interest the whole time. This is how #transformativelearning should be! #clarkclass

  21. Class is absolutely perfect!

I came up with the word Twalker or Twalking which is being a Twitter stalker or stalking someones Twitter.
